These quaint cottages are separated for privacy and set on nicely landscaped lawns on a secluded, private beach at Clark's Cove. Less than eight miles away are Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The ocean water of Clark's Cove is warm and pleasant for swimming in summer. Rowboats and canoes for fishing or seal watching are available at no charge. At low tide, guests can gather mussels steps from their cottage.
Season: Year-round.
Accommodations: Seaside has eight one-, two-, and three-bedroom heated cottages with modern, fully equipped kitchens. Living rooms have color televisions and beautiful views of the water; some have open-hearth fireplaces. Bedding is provided.
Special Features: Outdoor furniture and gas barbecue grills.
Options: In summer, two-bedroom cottages for three or four people. In spring and fall, two-bedroom cottages per night or per week. Rates are lower in early spring, late fall, and winter.
