This full-service large resort hotel is located in the heart of the park, on a bluff overlooking the marshlands of Willow Flats, with gorgeous views across Jackson Lake to the glacial tips of the Teton range. In spite of its name, the lodge is not located on the lake. Guests can swim in a large heated pool or go on organized float trips, and there's a corral with many different trail rides. Moose can be observed from the lodge in the marshy area of Willow Flats.
Season: Mid-May through mid-October.
Accommodations: The resort has cottages, standard hotel rooms in the main lodge, and larger hotel rooms located on either side of the main building.
Special Features: Full-service fine dining room, casual cafe with grilled food, lunch and evening barbecue by the pool during the summer.
Cost: The least expensive rooms are those in the main lodge. Children twelve and under stay free in parents' room.
