These fully equipped housekeeping cottages, set in a lightly wooded area across the street from the town marina, are within walking distance of lobster pounds, shops, museums, and restaurants. Some of the cottages are set around a pond that freezes for ice-skating in winter.
Season: May through October.
Accommodations: Cottages have separate living and sleeping areas. A one-bedroom cottage for four has two double beds, galley kitchen, shower bath, and deck or picnic area. A two-bedroom cottage for four has a double bed and two twins, living area with galley kitchen, and deck. A cottage for six has one bedroom with two double beds, shower bath, living area with double sofa bed, galley kitchen, and large deck. Bedding and cookware are provided.
Spots, activities and attractions: The national park, Echo Lake, the Bass Harbor Head Light, and Swan's Island Ferry are a short drive from Harbour Woods.
