This house, which sleeps up to eight people, has beautiful views of Somes Sound and the mountains of Acadia from its large deck. The owners frequently rent to more than one family at a time. Its wooded, private acreage is near Acadia National Park's hiking trails, a safe swimming beach at Echo Lake, the ocean, and the stores and restaurants of Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor.
Season: Year-round.
Accommodations: The first floor has a large, modern eat-in kitchen, a full bath, a living room, and three bedrooms. The refurbished basement has a large bedroom and a family room with a woodstove. The house is heated and completely furnished with dishes, linens, microwave oven, washer and dryer, television, and telephone.
Special Features: Large lawn area, outdoor grill, picnic table.
Rates are not affected if the house is shared with another.
