Yosemite Valley's major ‘must-see's—El Capitan, Cathedral Spires, Bridalveil and Yosemite Falls—are all close to Curry Village. Set under cedar trees at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley, this popular compound offers a variety of accommodations.
Season: April through September.
Accommodations: You can choose from cabins with private or central bath, tent cabins with a central bathhouse, or standard motel-type rooms with private bathrooms, which sleep up to four people. The cab-ins can accommodate up to five people with a rollaway bed or crib.
Special Features: Curry Village has a camp store, restaurants, the Yosemite Mountaineering School (open September through June), a swimming pool, bike rental, boat rental for river rafting, an ice rink, and cross-country ski rental.
